It’s so important to give your horse a good cool down after a workout.  Make sure that after you work your horse out that you bring down the intensity for 10-15 minutes.  A great way to do that is to gradually bring the intensity back down to a walk.  A good cool-down won’t make them sweat more.  After untacking your horse, allow them to stand there and continue to cool-down before putting them in the…

Our kids all have summer jobs here at Jones Land and Livestock.  This kiddo here is simply lunging a 2 year old to get him ready to be saddled up. Unfortunately we will need to cancel the May 28th Gymkhana. Valley County Planning and Zoning will no longer allow these Gymkhanas without getting a conditional use permit. Also, sadly our facility usage calendar was misconstrued. We have never charged anyone to use the arena.
