We have a new colt born this morning at about 6:15am. Josh went down to the barn about 3 minutes after the colt was born. He was still in the sack with his nose poking out and already trying to stand up. Josh pulled back the sack and pulled the umbilical cord. These pictures were taken about 10 minutes after the colt was born. You’ll notice the white sack in the corner behind the mare. Also, the colt hasn’t stood up yet.
Here you see the colt first starting to stand up. So cute! Look at how his back end is spread out trying to stand!
